Can someone please help identify which crank puller I need to get off this SR Suntour Crankset XCR-6 from my kids mtn bike.

My old part ccp-2 which I haven't used in 20 years does not thread in (too small)

Sometimes it's that, and sometimes it's the shoulder of the crank bolt dragging across the threads as it's fastened. Either way though, it's the fault of the crank for loose machining tolerances.

i hate that tool. it seems it's too easy to strip threads with it.

instead, i use a wrench force crank puller (with my adjustable wrench). check ebay. it's about $10.

if nothing will thread in, you may need to use a 3-jaw puller from harbor freight (or similar).

or ride up a short hill without the crank bolts in place to loosen the arms.
