For Wednesday at least.

We have a semi-classic to worry about here mid week.

What say you all about Ghent Wveleghem (and yes I'm sure that I spelled that incorrectly)...

I think someone else said something about this in another thread, but look for Boonen to throw it down for one of his teammates to get him a win (don't know which one, so many to choose from).

Mattan won't be anywhere near winning this year, so no need to worry about the motorcycles giving him a little draft towards the end of the race, but...

Juan Antonio Flecha is looking good again. Love the Spanish guys that ride the one day races.

The Derny classic . . .

It may all depend on whether Boonen chooses to go for the win or save his legs. That said, the safe bet in on Pozzato being paced to the finish line by a pink Vespa from La Gazzetta dello Sport as they pen Thursday's headline of "Il Boonen Italiano" and drum up a soap opera power struggle between Boonen and Pozzato to sell papers.

Anyway, I'd love to see Flecha win (again) who's more Argentinian than Spanish in my book.

Thor was the man today

Looks like Boonen wasn't giving it his all today. Milram rode good towards the end but weren't able to seal the deal. Big George couldn't provide a result, maybe he is saving his legs for PR this weekend. Sounds like it was a good race, would have loved to see it!

The last 10k...

The last 10k or so sounded all out to me. Thor comes through with a good win. God of Thunder indeed!

I thought Pozzatto had a good chance to steal another one with a 1k to go attack like in MSR.

George, Boonen, and others are saving it for this weekend. Boonen and George have both won this race before.

Read like a great and all out finish. I almost paid the premium for cycling.tv to watch. I'm a little skeptical about bandwidth issues for Paris Roubaix this weekend so didn't plop down the $35.

George pulls a 5th

I hope it didn't cost his legs. Petacchi and Milram shows they're no match for the North.
Nice grab by Pozzato but headwinds on a finish straight and you are speaking Thors language. Nice work, chalk one up for the Vikings since Magnus is absent.

I suspect Hincapie has wasted his shot at the PR podium.

I'll take them odds

Probably because they're going to make Hoste team leader for PR. You heard it here first.
My guess George just cruised in today and sprinted at the end. Still think it will be hard for anyone to beat QS but don't expect to see George sitting on the front for Hoste.
