Last weigh-in at the doctor's office 2 month ago I was 226.

I just hopped on the scale: 207.5

Woo Hoo! 18.5lbs gone. 25 more to go.

It's gonna be a loooooong summer.

down to 200 from 205 a month ago...haven't changed my diet, but have been riding a lot more. Another 10 to go and I'll call it good.

Nothing wrong with that.

I wonder where I'd be if I wasn't lifting like crazy too. I'm definitely putting on some serious muscle mass.

I've been really slacking on the weights after getting some overuse injuries from it. Can't recover like when I was 20 for some reason. Arms have lost some mass, but not too much. Have been mostly riding and doing cardio or lifting with light weights and high reps, plus doing some body-weight exercises like pullups, pushups, etc.

Must be nice. I've lost, since January, a grand total of maybe 5 pounds--and 4 of that was in January. And I've been working at it and everything. I'm sure there's a good deal of extra muscle mass in there from my personal trainer sessions in the winter (my jersey sleeves are all too tight now, dang it--my arm warmers nearly put my hands to sleep), but it's a little disappointing.

My body shape is definitely different, and my suits are all way too big now, but it's disappointing to have lost so little in actual weight--especially when I didn't really want to add any bulk. I just wanted to be fitter and lighter. Is it normal to get fitter and fitter and still not be able to lose weight?

"Say, you look great! Have you lost a bunch of weight?"
"No, not really. Dangit."

236 now, down from 241 or so at Christmas. Good job, Ken.

What matters most is that you're in better shape. I won't mind a bit if I stay at 200 or so if I can slide my gut back up into my chest where it used to be a few years ago. The 2" I've lost off my waist is definitely a good thing. Like you, the shirts are fitting tighter though.

Why Yarble? You'd get more mileage out of some unnamed others. :D

Really...Yarble'd be all stringy and tough. You'd have to marinate him for a while. :D

I was thinking the same thing. You could also slow cook him, I guess, with some taters and carrots.
