The WSMR Century is on again for April 10th. Almost certainly the only organized ride in North America that offers the opportunity to ride around unexploded ordnance and the likelihood of being chased by a libidinous Oryx.

We had a blast last year in the heat and the wind. Nice early season warm-up for summertime southwestern desert riding.

I will be there for sure. There are a few riders from the base who are thinking of going too, but I am for sure. I also registered for the Santa Fe century this week. Looking forward to that for sure. I need to get my butt on the bike now. I started running this winter to keep the fitness up, and am just now starting to ease back into a 250 bike week again. I started way too early last year and was baked by the end of Tour de Tucson, so I am trying something different for this winter. I am leaving here around noon today to go up Unser to US 550 and back in on 528. If you are out and see someone on a ruby Kestrel, give a shout.

I'll be there...

I reckon I'll even get to sleep in that day, at least compared to you guys. I'm only about 17 miles from the start :)

I will

I always support as much local riding as I can. Hey breeze, if you ever need anthing mechanical when you are in NM, don't be afraid to call. You can email the adress here and I will give you the phone # anytime. I have just about anything you could need for emergency repairs away from home even have spare tubies stretching if it calls for it. I am sure terryB does too.
