The more I watch HGTV's "The Unsellables", the more I find the show interesting to a person of my sensibilities...

I think it's the accent and her curviness. (Can't find a better photo.)

nope. not Irish. Some British accent. Can't break it down beyond that. Apparently she has a company in London and went to school in Edinburgh. But her accent isn't drunkenly slurred and cantankerous enough to be Scottish. So I'm guessing England-British.

Sophie has an older sister called Kirstie, also a television presenter. I've no idea where Sophie was born/raised but Kirstie is from London and is bit of a toff (yeah google that one!).

Checked a couple of youtube clips of Kirstie. No Sophie.

Accent is of a "well educated" english person. In the UK accent can be as much to do with the kind of schooling the person has received as it is with region. I did not detect any regional notes in Kirstie.

Beer-istocracy

Their father is Charles Allsopp, 6th Baron Hindlip. The title was created in the 1880's for her great-great-great grandfather, heir to a 100-year old brewing company that was once one of the largest in Britain. The company went bust in the early 20th century, and after a series of mergers the Allsopp name disappeared from the beer. I don't think the current family has any connection with the surviving brewery in Burton-upon-Trent, now owned by Molson Coors.

She should properly be addressed as "The Honorable Sophie Allsopp." ;-)

I won't argue the point, but since HGTV's landed Molly Culver, I think Sophie might be running for silver.

And let's not forget Genevieve.

There's a lot of hawt wimmenz on HGTV, surprisingly.

Dave Bromstad has a very cute assistant. Who probably wishes she could turn him straight.

And Summer Baltzar got preggers one season on the show she was on and curved out extremely nicely.

Sandra Rinomato does nothing for me but I have a friend who'd like her to bear his children.

Oh, and that chick Emily who just won Design Star. She's really cute, in a wholesome-but-maybe-I-could-be-naughty way.

Yeah, I think I watch that network differently than most ppl do. My gf watches it a lot and I adapted, shall we say.
