Buy what you want.
But, Hincapie's wheels, the deep carbon Aeolus models, seemed to hold up rather well considering the high spoke count of most other rider's wheels. P-R always has innovative product placement for bikes. This year it just didn't work for George.

You're new, and despite the attitude you've already displayed, we do have an agreed-upon rule here that if you are going to post about races and the content of the post contains something about the outcome, then you don't put content in the thread title but you do put the word SPOILER in the title. Either that or you post in the Pro Cycling forum. It's a simple request that needs to be refreshed every season.reddach said:

i am greatful to have come across this before inadvertantly spoiling a race for many. That would have been embarrasing. Where can one read some rules and ettiquette as far as posting is concerned?

folks I'm like the crotchety old grand dad/historian here, there are and have been no spoilers on thise site for years. you don't need to put an alert, or SPOILER on it. this is the RACE forum and guys post in real time or just after. If you are watching it on tape, stay out until you see it. The spoiler (or lack of) rules have been posted in this board numerous times. If ya don't wanna know don't look. Been that way for the last 3 years.
as for George, crap luck. Treks first year using CF steer tubes, not so good.

that steer tube is CF (Black). Last year he was using a Alloy steerer and had the bike with the suspension.
this year it's CF unless that's matte black grease
