Hello all,

I've got these Shimano cranks (FC-M341) that are normal square tapered on the drive side but appear to be different on the other side. See images for clarification.

I can't seem to find a manual on this part anywhere.

Anyone know how I can remove the non drive side crank?

Thanks

There is probably still a washer in ther taht you can take out (the grease is hiding the edge) and it will remove the same, There is NO difference between removing either crank.

Thanks guys. That lead me down the right path and I was able to get it off.

It actually is normal square taper and there actually wasn't a washer. The square shape in the crank is actually severely deformed and the dirt/grease hid the edge of the "square". Once I cleaned really well it became clear what I was looking at.

Thanks for the help!

When I saw the picture I thought it was a test. The washer is definitely still in there.
