If I follow what you're asking, it doesn't appear that you'd have any trouble mounting a rack to this bike. My Cannondale MTB is the same configuration with wishbone stays versus the separate stays. From the pictures, it appears that bike has mounting bolts on the single stay, and it isn't a problem mounting a rack.
