very cool

I grew up in small towns in Missouri, and rode my bike "all over the place" back then. Brings back memories. Doesn't look like anything has changed since the '60's.

Very nice format for your report.

I often wondered why the roads and places were named the way they were, so I decided to do some research.

A good example of this would be "Old Drum Road"

Unless you do the research will not have a clue. Right! . . . What's a Drum have to do with anything. Read below and find out the Drum wasn't a Drum at all.

Also notice "Gunn City" just to the northwest. To quote Cass county's web site
This is the feature city I'm going to have on my Halloween ride. Gunn City has already passed into fame as one of the historic towns of Missouri, as the theatre of one of the most bloody tragedies that has been recorded in western annals

So what better Halloween route could you have, than to pass through the citys the robbers took?
