Most of my tires last until I cut them on something, usually road debris... sometimes that's 3000 miles, more often it's 25. :(

front and rear...

A front tire will often last twice as long as a rear, so I buy tires in threes - two for the rear and one for the front. I expect 2000-2500 from the rear tire, but cuts can always end a tire's life prematurely. I did that on my last ride. Hit a good sized rock with my rear tire, while descending at 35+. Instant pinch flat and a nice cut in the sidewall.

depends on the tires, roads, etc. some race tires like a veloflex record ain't gonna last long on rough roads... prob lucky to get 1000. others are made to be more durable and might go until the rubber breaks down if ridden mostly on smooth pavement
