typically 39's are for doubles, but the BCD will tell you more

It's just that the teeth and ramps designed to lift the chain won't line up. - TFsteel515 said:

They should say. You may get a correct answer if you call. If it truly is "Ramped and pinned", then it is for a triple. The inside ring of a double doesn't need any pins. - TFsteel515 said:
