I'm stuck at home doing a ton of mundane chores. When I can finally get out, I will see this film.

Have been looking forward to it.

I'll be seeing it post haste.

Edit: Saw it this afternoon and really liked it. I thought it started out a little slow but as soon as the first fight scene happened I was hooked.

I finally saw this film. I liked it, but it definitely won't appeal to everybody.

It really pours on the 'video-game/comic-book/anime' angle... most every scene involves some sort of 'magic reality' based on the above.

Where it's a little thin at times is in the heart department. Seems like they leaned a bit too much on Michael Cera's personality to provide that.

On the plus side, this flick re-affirms his talent in light comedy. He gets more laughs out of quietly delivering silly little 'Captain Obvious' statements deadpan than anyone I've ever seen.

Sadly, this film is already on its way out of theaters after only 3 weeks. By next Friday, it'll probably be bye-bye. Kind of a shame, as it is a pretty original take on the classic teen/young-adult rom-com.

/ btw, did not know this when I saw it, but it's the same director who did Shaun of the Dead, one of my favorite horror films/comedies.
