If you like Mavic shoes but don't want Mavic shoes...

I have several pairs of Mavic shoes. I love them... except for one thing. The glued-on rubber sole piece at the toe breaks off and the carbon quickly wears through.

I have been riding for decades. I've been clipping in (and out) since the early 90s. I do NOT drag my toe when stopping or starting. Really. I asked a friend who's got the same shoes if he's had a similar issue. He said "This?!" Exact same issue.

So now I'm on the hunt for a shoe that fits like Mavic but isn't Mavic. Any suggestions?

Thanks!

Shoe Goo till you find replacement shoes.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think Shimano now makes Mavic branded shoes.
