Kinda in the same boat, except I'll be seeing the last week up north in the mountains. Stages 16-19 make a semi-circle heading east to west towards Milan. I figure we'll find someplace to stay on the inside of that semi-circle and then I can just ride up into the mountains each day and catch the stage at some point along it's route.jaybike said:I'm going to the Giro d'Italia this May. I'm going to be in the Tuscany region, around Florence. Anybody have any helpful hints on seeing the race in or about that region?
I found out where i'll be staying. it's close(15mi.)to the finish of stage 4, Civitella Val di Chiana. i'll be able to see the finish, then go back the next day to catch the start. i'm pumped, i want to see Cipo' and Pettachi go at it.Jed Peters said:www.zimartino.com
Make that your base camp, then go out from there. The Giro passes through that area.
