I built up my Centurion SS about a month ago and have only been using it on the 3 mile commute to work since then. Our club did a fast paced training ride today getting ready for a local race. I decided to push my luck and use the SS for the ride. I put on a set of my old MTB pedals and hit the road. We did a 15 mile out and back and I hit the turnaround point about 45 seconds back from the lead pack that I normally ride with riding by myself. It was more downhill coming back so they put a bit more of a gap into it but I was surprised how well I did. We then picked up the wives and did a 15 mile social ride on the same route. I loved it! I'm really starting to think about the fixed stuff next. This is FUN! I'm beginning to like this stuff!!!

Glad you're enjoying the SS. Fixed is definitely fun. Definitely different, but a lot of fun. Hope you enjoy it as much as I do.
