By "any length of time" do you mean weeks, months, or years? And is your garage 150 degrees and contain a bunch of ozone producing electrical equipment or is it just your average suburban garage that sometimes gets to 100 degrees? And are your tires super light racing specials, or more conventional 250-300 gm clinchers? The answer depends on all these factors.

All of the above. I know tires have changed over the years. The last set I bought had tan rubber sidewalls. No UV protection. They just fell apart but I had not ridden it for months,a year. Things happen. Time go's by. I looked at them one day and they had blown out.
