If for instance I have a bike with an integrated headset does that mean that I need an integrated fork.

no, but it looks a bit odd...

Integrated forks are designed for a smooth transition from the fork to the head tube. If you get a conventional fork, it will function the same, but it creates an odd look.

Can you fit a bike made with integrated headsets with a regular one?

The requestor asked if the forks could be interchanged, not the headset. You can't put a conventional headset on a frame made for an integrated model.

The difference in the forks is purely cosmetic.
