Interval Training on a Spin Bike?

Living in NY, I often need to ride indoors to get in my training.
I have an indoor trainer, but find it super hard to get into upper HR zones when on the trainer and impossible to get ito zone 5.
On a spin bike at the gym, it's much easier to get into zones 4 and 5.

Are ther any disadvantages to training on a spin bike?

Why not?

If you can't ride outside, it works great. Saves wear and tear on your road bike. Plus the weights are right next door for some additional torture.
