Title really says it all. 6700 cassette was cheaper by $30, and 6600 chain was cheaper by $10, so I thought I'd try the mix and match. Any compatibility issues to worry about?

Also, I change chains ever 1500 miles, and cassettes every 4500. Will upgrading the chain later on cause issues?

No issues. Shimano tech info says the CS-6700 cassette is compatible with the CN-7900, CN-7801, CN-6700, CN-6600 and CN-5600 chain.
