I bought a pair of Soma Hellyer Track Pedals and I they seem to be a great pedal. Here are the specs.

• CNC'd aluminum cage, shaped for more cornering clearance
• Polished aluminum body
• Sealed cartridge bearings
• 9/16" CrMo spindle
• Silver body with anodized black cage or limited edition gold, red, blue and pink cages
• 249 grams (lighter than RX1)

Now look at the Dimension Track Pro pedal (the red pair). Here are the specs
* Sealed bearings
* Lightweight minimal cages
* Perfect for toe-clips
* 9/16" Spindle
* CroMo Spindle
* 238g

In my eye they are the exact same pedal and are forty dollars cheaper. Yes there is a weight discrepancy but I never believe a manufacturers weight claim. Does anyone know if there is a difference? I need some new pedals for a new build and I am thinking these look to good to pass up.

I see 3 differences- cage color, logo, spindle flange shape

Well FTF, I really thought you were smarter than that because you missed that one was a left pedal and the other was right, but thanks for the useful bit of information that you gave that helped me tremendously.

Not crazy about the Red color, but they do look the same.
For a difference of $40, I would go with the Dimension Pedals.
