I bought the ISM Adamo road saddle about 3 weeks ago. I probably have 400-500 miles on it. I wanted a saddle to take the pressure off my prostrate as I enter riding season and start riding more, further and more often, I have trouble in the evening hours with urination. It just doesn't want to come out at a reasonable day time stream. Plus my primary and gastro said my prostrate was slightly enlarged.

Though I haven't been riding it a long time, the saddle is terrific for relieving prostrate pressure with no nose pushing up against the front area of the rider. This is because Is 2" shorter than a regular saddle, it has a wide groove in the middle, and there is no closed nose in the front, the nose is split in the front. The nose is a little wider than a regular saddle and on my first ride, I knew it, but after the 2nd ride, the wider nose felt normal to me. The downside right now, I don't think it's the right saddle for my sit bones, my butt hurts on 30+ mile rides.

It's a terrific saddle for the right rider and is offered in colors with varying sharp colored stripes.

ISM Adamo Saddles

I have been riding the racing and the road saddles for the last few weeks. Unfortunately, after many years of riding without problems, I developed a fairly clear-cut case of cycling induced erectile dysfunction (impotence). I knew that was the cause and my urologist confirmed it. After three months off the bike and a ton of Cialis, I am nearly back to normal. Against the advice of everyone (wife included) I decided to start riding again, but not without considerable research on saddles.

There is no question that the ISM saddles have demonstrated the least negative effect on penile blood flow of any saddle out there. This is because there is no nose to press your arteries up into your pubic arch. The downside of these saddles is that no weight is borne by your soft tissues as is the case with most saddles. All of you weight is borne by your ischial tuberosities and inferior pubic rami (BONES). This is going to take some getting used to.

These are not the most comfortable saddles out there, but for me, there is no choice. They do what they advertise. I have had not recurrence of ED or any other genitourinary dysfunction so far. And I am adjusting to the saddles and they are becoming increasingly comfortable.
