5-10, 24 yards total. Had to have an ex-con come in to help give teh Eggles a chance at winning, which they did not do. As a comparison, Dennis Dixon, the guy everyone was concerned about, went 18-26 for 236 yards. And 1 pick. Oh. The Steelers won. Gawd, I hate teh Eggles. That is all.

You hate the Eagles? I'm a Skins fan. Painful to have McNabb playing for us now. It is painful having to cheer for Akers because he is on my wife's fantasy team. She also has Felix Jones from the Cowboys.

Yeah, I hate the Eagles too. The good thing was that my wife's opponent had the Eagles D so I could cheer for the Eagles to score field goals and GB to light them up. We needed one more point from GB, which did not happen.

IMHO, Andy Reid is the most over-rated coach in the NFL.

I love the Eagles and was at the game. I thought this was an 8 and 8 team, I may have been wrong.

I still have no idea if Kold is any good. The dog killer is the same as always.

Then you'll fit in perfectly as an Eagles fan.

He's a young qb without a running game, unlike Dixon. He's making mistakes.......question is, will he learn from them....time will tell.

This year is a rebuilding year, anything more than that is a gift.

As to Reid being overrated, he's won more games in the last decade than any coach but belichek, must be doing something right........especially doing it with as inconsistent qb as mcnabb.

Has he won any Super Bowls? Wait, I know the answer to this question. It's a big fat NO.

As for Mcnabb, had the coaching staff had the football knowledge to understand that you need a running game to win, he may not have been so "inconsistant". Again, going to my point of Reid being over-rated.

It's a joke, aimed at Philly fans' dispositions more than anything.

In their old digs (Veteran's), they had a jail in the stadium. And they definitely used it during games.

I was a little surprised at McNabb being let go. Now I think he's a little overrated, but he had another couple good years left I thought. He was good enough at quarterback to have a Super Bowl winning team though.

Jail in the stadium System Shock? Haha, sounds like entertainment would be guaranteed.

With a running game, he could have. Ain't gonna happen in Washington, tho.

Dixon was tremendous at Oregon and will do well in the nfl. The Eagles have leadership problems...TO and McNabb were probably the tip of the iceberg.

Mcnabb was always a limited quarterback. He had demonstrated that he wasn't capable of winning the superbowl. They believe that, long term, kolb could be.

I Give them props for having the courage to take the risk to try to get better.

We will see if they were right.

They had a good enough team to win the Superbowl for several years......the guy who choked in each one was Donovan. Remember him throwing up in the huddle in the NFC championship game?.......choke.

Reid had to pare down the playbook because Donovan wasn't capable of running it.

I think you're right. How much did they lose by in that Superbowl vs New England? Three points?

There sure is a fine line between 'not good enough' and Superbowl winner, isn't there?

A pity they never had a camera there and a TV deal. It probably would've been the best reality show EVAR. :D

McNabb never was the reason the Eagles never made it all the way. For every bad pass, there were 10 catchable balls dropped, 5 routes blown, 5 drive killing stupid penalties and 5 times the offensive line failed to protect the damn QB.

It's not for lack of talent on the field that the Eagles haven't won the big one all these years. God knows that enough former Birds have gone on to earn multiple rings, including two coaches. As much as I like him, Reid is the man to hold most responsible but only in as much as he was unable to prevent the city from getting to him and the players. Philly is toxic when it comes to sports.

So, I'm going to be cheering for the Skins for as long as McNabb is throwing the ball for them. Not because I no longer bleed green -- I do -- but because I want him to get the ring he deserves.

Here's something to think about, Superbowl XL. Ben Roethlisberger by no stretch of the imagination was a great quarterback at the time. Under 200 yards passing and completed less than half his throws, but that was enough to win a superbowl.

So with a good team and good coaching I do believe McNabb could have won a superbowl.
