OK here is my injury.
The injury seems to be from overuse and happened when i did several hill repeat for training over a week period. obviously i wasn't ready for that much intensity. Now, the back of my knee has a dull pain at most times. When i apply pressure to the knee joint when my legs are fully extended i get a sharp pain in the back of my knee. The knee feels solid other than when i hyper-extend it or really stretch my hamstrings. The problem is that i can train and race, but there is always a nagging pain. I was hoping to wait until the off season to rest this one, so if anyone has suggestions such as stretching exercises etc. that may help, it would be much appreciated. Also any diagnosis would be great.

Cheers!

Place a strip of electrical tape on the seat-post, just about 1/4" above the seat-tube BEFORE you loosen the binding post.....then lower the saddle until the tape touches the seat-tube (leave the tape on)....if too low, you can raise the saddle minutely by using the tape as a gauge...if the saddle is still too high, reposition the tape and repeat the procedure.
