Stage 3. The 7.8 mile time trial course was no stranger to Kristin who rode almost 3 laps solo of the same course on her way to the win the prior day. Kristin won convincingly on the hilly course with Alisha Welsh finishing 6th, Olivia Dillon in 7th and Coryn Rivera 10th.

After scoring the hat-track, winning the first 3 stages, Kristin had GC sewn up due to the omnium format so moving into the final stage, the team was looking for other opportunities.

Stage 4. Perfect temperatures once again for the Sea Otter 18 lap Circuit Race on the Mazda Laguna Seca Raceway. Olivia Dillon covered some early moves and approximately 7 laps in Alisha Welsh went to the front and set a taxing pace on the climb, one lap later a selection of thirteen riders was established, all teams were represented and the gap grew quickly. Peanut Butter & Co.TWENTY12 raced at the front for much of the remainder of the race, controlling any breakaway attempts to set up for a sprint.

Coming into the final turn, Coryn was on Kristin's wheel next to Meredith Miller with Samantha Schneider (Tibco) on her wheel, a couple bumps and a fifth rider later, Coryn and the Vanderkitten Focus rider Emily Collins were on the ground. Fortunately Coryn's bike took most of the impact, she came away relatively unscathed but shaken up. Jade Wilcoxson (Landshark) won with Samantha Schneider 2nd. kristin rolled to the line, with the General Classification sealed and picking up QOM points on the day resulting in the Climbers Competition jersey.

Thanks to Jose Alcala of SRAM neutral Support for taking care of Coryn and rescuing her favorite pair of Oakleys!

Up next for Peanut Butter & Co.TWENTY12 is Fleche Wallone and SRAM Tour of the Gila.
