It was the first thing I upgraded. The stock fork is a jackhammer and a boat anchor.
I found a kinesis track fork for almost nothing. The major considerations you should have are that it's 1 1/8", has a 40mm rake and is low priced. You don't want to put a $350 fork on a $600 bike. You can try a different rake if you'd like, but it will affect the handling.
