Whos on one? I'm wanting to throw one in the mix. I have a good idea of what parts I want to put on it. I'm not going for the hipster look, just want a SS/Fixed gear to train on and bar hop. Post up any pics of 'em if you got one.

Yeah man, I'm really excited about picking one up. How are the stock wheels?

they are what they are...stock wheels. i've just about destroyed them.
i got the bike knowing that most of the parts were hokey and most everything was going to get replaced. my plan was to buy it, ride the snot out of it, then rebuild it with more durable/comfortable parts. when the wheels finally go i'll do that.

my shop has a set of velocity deep Vs with formula hubs for cheep. think that is right up my alley. but check the deal bicycle wheel warehouse has on the dt swiss 1.2 for fixed/single. just get those and forget about it.

at least tell your shop to change out the tires before you even leave the shop. total junk.
i say buy it, ride it like you stole it, and replace parts as they wear. it's a really fun bike.

Sorry no pics. I have an 09 polished. Great bike to train on as a SS. I hammer on it 2 x a week for 30-42 mi. and ride the road bikes on the weekends. Dump the Mondo tires and put a good set on.

They aren't real light at 260gms, but they are tough and roll fast! Perfect for a spin bike.
I am ashamed to say that on flats, or small hills I am damn near as fast on my Langster as as my nice road bikes. For a hammer down 30-40 mi. ride it kicks my ass, and pumps up my legs like balloons. It makes riding the geared bikes seem easy.
