In VeloNews tour guide there is a pic from the1990 tour where Robert Millar is riding a Lemond bicycle. Lemond won that year, of course but did he already have his own line of bikes?

Roland Della Santa was building a lot of his bikes then, he was/is a family friend and also from Nevada. The "Bottechia" TT he piloted in the 89 tour was resprayed as a "Lemond" for the 90 tour, rumor is that Roland built that as well and branded it to match the road bikes. I took this photo of it back in 2006 when he spoke at Ft Mason during the Tour of California.
Lemond bikes were built by others in those days, Clark Kent built the Ti editions. The company had a rough start and I recall Greg even had to sue his dad over the running of it.
