I have a 2001 ( I think) Lemond Ti bike. I'm trying to determine what model the frame is. It has 4 color bands. 2 on the downtube and 2 on the seat tube. Colors are blue, red, black, yellow, and green in desending order. The only other decals are white "Lemond",1 each on the down tube and the seat tube. Frame finish is brushed Ti.

If you're reasonably sure it's a 2001, it's either a Tete de Course or a Victoire. I think the actual frames were the same; the TdC had Dura-Ace and the Victoire had Ultegra.

Go here ...

... and click the Visit Our Bike Archive link, then click Models Before 2003. No pictures, alas, but you may find enough clues to positively ID your frame.

Aha!

Looks like it is indeed a 2001 Tete de Course:

Congrats ... nice bike. (I have a 2005 Buenos Aires.)

EDIT: Uh, oh, wait a minute. It may be a Victoire. The same web site shows this for the Victoire:

http://www.bikesdetails.info/LeMond_Victoire_2001.html

... but if you enlarge the image, you can clearly see "Tete de Course" on the top tube, and it looks to me like it says "Dura-Ace" on the crank arm. IOW, I think they got the pics reversed. White panels may be a Victoire, black panels may be a TdC.

Does the bike still have some/all of the original components? The gruppo would tell you for sure.
