any guesses on the chance that Piepoli's stage 10 sample will be positive? Following Millar's comment about performances looking too good to be true, what are the chances that a clean, 37 year old Piepoli rides away from the peloton, drops Frank Schleck, and as he rides away with Cobo actually waits a few times for him to get back on? In places, he was actually climbing with one hand while looking around for Cobo.

Piepoli has always been a great climber and his results every year are pretty consistent but this year he has been riding better than normal.

Piepoli is arguably the most natural climber in the Tour, I think -- and hope -- he was riding clean.

I doubt he was clean. Schleck was desperately trying to take the stage but blew up in the process, and he's a hard core devoted to one stage rider.

Piepoli is definitely one of the Old School italian riders. I'm gonna go with he (and Cobo) gets pinched and/or is exposed as part of an organized, team-supported doping program. I predict that Ricco will tell all when looking at time in a french prison. It is the only way one of these guys will name names etc.
