Does anyone know what is going on with Levi's Gran Fondo? I know its been a really big success in the past, and the website still lists it as a go for Oct. 5th but since his last Fondo he was suspended for doping, stripped of his results and retired... In the past it has sold out quickly, but wondering what the response is going to be like this year.

According to the website, the event is over 90% sold. I've never done this, but all reviews point to it as a premier cycling event and sure to survive regardless of Levi's doping confession.

It's on. If you can make, by all means, go. Best one day cycling event I've ever done. Went with some buddies two years in a row. Challenging ride and amazing SAGs.

i spoke to him yesterday at a mtb race and it's still on. the full fondo option is sold out, but the 2 shorter ones still have spaces open.
