I have a set of Look PP396 pedals and the right pedal (the one I click in and out of all the time) has developed noisy bearings on the spindle. It still spins ok.
I have tried looking up servicing these pedals and have not had much luck. One lbs wants $45 per pedal to change the cartridge bearings. Can they be serviced without replacing the cartridge? If so how and is there an FAQ I could be pointed to (not much of a wrench here).
If it comes down to that much $$ I will just ride them until they don't spin properly and then replace them.
