I'm on the same boat. I might just go with an enve fork since that seems to be my only option. What's wrong with your original work? I should have never cut the steer tube that short. Oh well.

I have a 2011 57cm slr01 with a broken seat stay, not sure if im going to get it repaired or not. My insurance replaced the bike with a 2013 model. The steerer tube is about 10.5 inches long. What is the fork worth?
