Hi All:

I'm looking for feedback from users of the Wheel Fanatyk spoke tension meter. It looks like an evolution of the no longer available FSA tension meter.

I'm on my 4th Park TM-1. I've had really poor results with this tool from both a reliability and consistency standpoint. To their credit, Park has been quick to replace the defective units, but I'm willing to spend more money for a higher quality tool.

Bump, this was never addressed.

I've been using the FSA for 6 years. No complaints. I love that it is nearly independant of spoke thickness.

I have been using a TM-1 and recently sent it back to Park for re-calibration because it seemed to be reading low. I would get something better but don't build enough wheels to justify the cost. It is nice to have a wheel with known tension that you just use as reference to make sure the tensiometer is working properly.
