aahhh yes.

I skimmed over this tool in my research because I thought it was only for the splines of the bb. I didn't realize it had the pre-load wrench on the other side. Ingenious.

Thanks!!!


One note: the added leverage of a long handle for the pre-load will probably cause most to over torque. Wouldn't you think?

It's actually not fixed on the arm. There is a pin through the middle of the preloading tool part attaching it to the lever arm of the tool that it spins on. You still use it like a thumbscrew like the original Shimano one, but this way it stays attached to the BB tool as well.
