Sigh. Got a flu shot n' everything, we had a long, cold, wet winter (by California standards), but it looked like I was in the clear, spring was about to sprung... and then, in the LAST WEEK of the cold 'n wet, I come down with da flu. :(

Eff you, flu gods. Your sense of humor is not appreciated. :incazzato:

I'm at that amusing stage right now where you have a sudden, sharp cough, and then KNOW you've just majorly phlegmed something within 10 feet of you, but... can't... FIND... it. :skep:

On the plus side, the flu shot does appear to have done *something*... this flu variety seems to be only about 60 percent power or so compared to what I usually get hit with sans shot. But still, it's disappointing that it didn't work fully. Weaksauce.

Oh, and pot is now legal in Cali. Will have to experiment and see how well that relieves symptoms. May be a case of, "Forget you, Day-Quil, I've found something better." :)

There has been a strain of plague running thru this part of the world. It hangs on for an absurd amount of time.

No experience with use of devil's cabbage for aid and comfort. I'm subject to random whiz quizzes.

The people that make these shots claim that if the shot is 60% effective that is a "good year". I guess setting the bar low is a smart move. This year my wife got the flu (a bad one) and my daughter and I did not. We all got the shot
