Just a question - looking at purchasingset of Mavic Aksium for training - are these the only wheels in Mavic line up manufactured in Asia? Anyone have any experiece using them? Friend just purchased new bike with them and they look like a solid entry/training wheel...

I have been riding the Aksiums that came on my bike for about 3 months now, and they are a pretty solid wheel to train on. They are rather heavy, but they are decently strong. I have had no issues with them going out of true thus far. They seem pretty smooth too...my only complaint other than the weight is that they can seem a bit flimsy at times, but I weight about 160 lbs, so I'm not the lightest guy out there either.
