they better be damn-near indestructible for a front wheel that has no truing adjustment capacity. You can spend $1k less for zipp 202's which probably have better aerodynamics (considering the Mavics don't have bladed spokes etc) and weigh less.

Its a politician doing the test.

#2 there is no real weight being put on the wheel....just rocking it back and fourth. As weight is applied on one foot, weight is coming off the other.

#3 and #4 looks like 99% of the hits to the spokes are being applied to the bottom spokes which are pretty much sitting flat on the table....again not much damage could be applied in this manner.

NOW! - not saying the wheels are not great (I could never afford them), but these videos in no way convince me of anything. Mavic probably designed the test and shot the video and placed them on youtube for marketing.
