Is there any difference? I haven't seen anything to suggest that there is. With that said, what do you think would be better for a sprint and oly tri?
A pair of MICHELIN Pro2 Race tires and MICHELIN Ironman tires are exactly the same thing. They have a bit of a different color scheme (red sidewalls vs a black sidewall) and they are also branded with the Ironman logo. That is the only difference.

If you are looking at the PRO3 Race. They are the newest Michelin on the market and ride great. Money well spent.
That is true. There is a big difference between the MICHELIN Pro3 Race and the MICHELIN Ironman tires. Some of the differences include a 20 weight reduction, up to 40% increase of grip on the sides and up to 27% more grip in the center which translates to up to 3 mph on exiting speed on a 25 meter turn.

Hope this helps
