My PDA alarm just went off, reminding me it's time for my mid-morning snack. Choices are one of the two items I brought from home -- a stick of all-natural string cheese, or a nectarine -- or, back in the office kitchenette, a day-old Krispy Kreme donut.

Truly, a dilemma of world-class proportions.

My stomach is always telling me to snack. The electronic device tells me when it's okay to do so.

Slice the donut in half, insert sliced nectarine and cheese, microwave it for a minute and then snarf it down. Nom nom nom...

But if I eat everything now, what would I do for my mid-afternoon snack?

Oh, wait. There were at least four Krispy Kremes in that box ...
