Also, according to a study someone posted here recently, Illinois is the 3rd flattest state. We definitely have no hills to speak of. There's a popular hill in my area that's a strava segment - I set a PR the other day with an average speed up the hill at something like 24.5mph. No one can really consider something so short that you can ride up it at that speed a real hill.
