I am pretty new to road biking and I looked at BikesDirect.com and saw a couple of road bike names that I wasnt so familiar with and I was just wondering if any of these bikes had a name worth riding or are the just a cheaper knock off of others. If anyone can help with an explanation that would be helpful.

Kestrel was the original CF bike--and they still are good bikes, tho' I don't care for where their graphics people have gone lately.

I think the Kestrel's on bikesdirect are 2007 leftovers.
