Right in the mid spine. Kept me up all night. :cryin:

The only thing that relieves it is to sit and drape myself backwards over the chair a la Jennifer Beals/Flashdance maneuver.

I can't stay like this all day, it makes it awkward to type.

If someone would please send a small elephant to walk on my back I'd appreciate it, thx.

A wretched soul, bruised with adversity,
We bid be quiet when we hear it cry;
But were we burdened with like weight of pain,
As much or more we should ourselves complain.

Is this going to be Talk Like Shakespeare Day all day?

If so, then really, shoot me now.

this week i messed up my back from the neck to just below my shoulder blades. i couldnt turn my head or tilt my head upwards. i tried every stretching exercise known to man-animal. having The Wife stand on it only got two cracks.
i found lying on the floor and doing the trunk twist helped. on day 2 and 3. nothing helped on day 1.

hope this helps.

take 5-10 mins and try to stretch out your back. sometimes that helps for me. mid back area is the hardest for me to fix when i feel it's all messed up.

if that doesn't work, try a liquid lunch.

I always find drinking helps in these situations. Great muscle relaxer and higher in antioxidants.

oh and "a rose by any other name is still blah, blah, blah.."

Or an elephant gun, in case there is no other hope but to shoot me.
A bucket of water and a camera to document the jennifer beal pose. :blush2:

I put forth an offer to walk on your back for you. I'll even carry a backpack while walking.

Jupiter's drinking suggestion might do it, but that'l make it equally hard to type...doing a write-up on an artist up the road and he might not appreciate "drunk posting" as much as we Loungers do.

Welty's suggestion is helping, but only if I don't get back up off the floor.

I bet it would heal up real fast if Jennifer Beals came over.

Okay, it's not Shakespeare, but it's the best I got. Wait, how about, "Unsex me here." That's from MacBeth, I think. We read it in a high school class and somebody asked the teacher what it meant. He did a poor job explaining. We knew better, but just wanted to see him squirm.
