Since I'm graduating from college this year, and will be starting a job in a city where there are not many trails, I figured I'd get myself a nice road bike to train on and do club races with.

First, I stumbled across an Aquila with Dura Ace, but the carbon frame was crazing at the seatpost/top tube lug. I felt bad for the seller for driving a long way to meet me in Toronto, so I offered him a few hundred dollars less because the shop was still offering me a 5 year warranty. I'm glad that he was a tight a$$ and did not accept my offer. So I walked out of the door with nothing.

Now I came across this Cannondale Six 13, and it hardly had ANY miles on it. The fron tire still has the extra bits of rubber in the middle of the tire!! The drive train also reflects this bike had very little usage. So I HAD to have it. Here it is, enjoy the pictures :D

Cheers,

Ming

nice bike. Welcome to the 613 club. It's the best bike I've ever ridden. You may want to flip the stem (and maybe chop your steerer), and surely get rid of the reflector ASAP.
As I get more comfortable on the bike, I will modify the steer or flip the stem :D

I think I may get stuck riding in the dark, so I may actually leave the reflector on for safety reasons.

Now I'm thinking of adding a saddle bag and a frame pump for my Six, just because I won't be wearing my camel pack, and I can't carry my tools that easily. Or is it considered pretty ghetto as well

Sorry about these newbie questions, I'm a recent mountain bike convert ;)

Cheers

Congrats on the new bike. I have an 05 Six-13 in blue with Ultegra. It's a sweet ride, and it looks like you got a better deal than the other one you were looking at. Enjoy.

Thanks :)

Put it this way, I paid less for this bike than the dealer cost on the Ultegra Six 13 :D So yes, I'm very hyped for this bike. Now I want my exams to finish and it be sunny out so I can go and ride!!

Cheers,

Ming
