I will be posting a complete review on the Moto/BD forum here on the whole process and overall experience with BD.

After a 20 mile ride, the frame handles great. I will cut the stem down a tiny bit later. I need to find some nice polished spacers. Sadly CK Silver does not match the Syntace Stem.

Right now:

• Wheels
• Bars
• Brake Levers
• Jagwire Cables
• HS
• Chain

Everything else was lying around. I thought the black brakes would look nice as those silver tekro brakes get nasty fast.

The FS Vero cranks are really nice, but they are 170mm. Nice for SS but not fixed and my 44 EUR feet on 52cm frame.

What gets me is the stock stem in 60mm :shocked:

The post is fine, but it's a single bolt. Bars are cheap, but will do for now.
Seat is fine for a Velo.

Paint is very think and chips/scratches very easliy. The spacing or the wheel axels make for a tight fit so I cannot use the MKS tensioners I have. Hopefully the new wheels will be better or I will get a Surly Tugnut.

I really love the green though! Maybe a Brown leather saddle and matching tape?
Or Black Leather saddle and White Stella Bar tape.

Yeah, it's fun! I just cleared out the garage bins. The rest goes on FleaBay.

Yes, a 60mm stem is very odd for a bike with a 54.5 TT.

Maybe with risers and someone who want to be vertical it might work.

With the ST angle, HT angle and a 120mm stem., I am in the same position as my road bike, but with higher bars.
That has a 110mm stem flipped down and a 54TT.

I can cruise with the wife & kids, or stretch out on the BH for more speed.

I think nashbar had a 60... that's def an iro stem, you can tell by the sticker
