I went skiing this weekend, haven't skied in a few years. Legs feel okay, a little fatigued, shoulders hurt, doing max limit pain meds. I went to Holiday Valley in Ellicottville, NY. High ranking for an east coast ski area. Was with people I used to work with, rented a condo for about $38 a night (great deal) I took an air mattress with me along with a sleeping bag and pillow, bed space was not available for 5.

I fell a few times, skis never came off, so they were not bad falls, just sit back into the snow type falls. I had marginal fitting boots as rentals and I think the skis were out performing the poor fitting boots so I struggled all day with my form. That and I think my legs were weak in the muscles needed to control the skis. I just could not adjust to the performance of the ski quick enough while turning, meaning they were turning further than I needed and as a result they would scrub off alot of speed and I wasted alot of energy getting them to behave.

But my shoulders hurt from either falling or propelling myself about.
