My wife and I want to take our road bikes along during our beach trip to South Myrtle this weekend. Does anyone know of some nice areas to ride down there that isn't too busy (traffic)? I would love to get some good views of the ocean during a ride and don't want to ride anywhere near "the strip" on Memorial Day weekend

A friend of mine recommended maybe Pauley's(sp?) Island but he doesn't ride, so who knows? Thanks in advance for the help.

Pawley's Island

Pawley's Island will likely be pretty busy as well. It will be FAR less so than Garden City. Another place to consider would be Huntington Beach State Park. That would likely have less traffic and the views you are looking for.
