All pro teams' bikes have name decals to connect bike and rider.

What do the decals say about the team?

Note Gerolsteiner's Hoj -- http://www.cyclingnews.com/photos/2006/apr06/roubaix06/index.php?id=roubaix_bikes3/IMG_0066 -- it could've been made with a $30 label maker.

Hoste's is much fancier -- little Belgian flag and all -- and it appears to be under the clearcoat.

I know, this doesn't really matter, but I'm amused at the level of attention (or lack of it) that different teams pay to this detail.

The cheap label that reads Hoj F. looks cool to me in some odd way. It's kind of minimal, kind of Hi/Lo punk rock and it's banality ironically makes it charming in a peculiar way. It reminds of the white illuminated sign that said "home" out front a house in scene from A Clockwork Orange.

It says that it makes it a lot easier for the mechanics and the riders to know whose bike they're working on, and or riding. Doesn't matter how fancy they are, it is just for identification.

Anybody know where to get flag decals like the ones on Disco's top tubes? On a group ride, I've seen them on Project One Treks...but like the OP mentioned, it looked like it had clearcoat on it.
