Saturday morning's I go on a 45 to 50 hammerfest. I normally ride 5 days a week, averaging 100 to 200 miles. I have been feeling good, and riding well. Due to rain, I have only been on the road twice in the last 2 weeks. Have I lost much fitness?? Should I go on a slower ride tomorrow, or just step up to the hammefest....Thanks

Do you want to go on the Saturday morning ride? What are you worried about--getting dropped on the hammerfest? For me, this sport is all about increasing fitness while having fun, but I figure everyone rides for different reasons. If it were me, which ride would help me fulfill my goals? Unequivocally, that would be the hammerfest, even if I turn out to be (and I often do) the hammeree. You could be different; if so, I'm interested to hear how. I say step up, brother!
