I have a Specialized Roubaix, base model, 105 components. I use it for training and do not race it. I train largely for mountain biking....don't yell at me :)
I am looking for a replacement set of wheels for the OEM Alex 290's. The rear has already blown spokes and they feel pretty slow in general. If I only had $300 or less - what could I do?
The front is in good shape, should I keep it and get just a rear? I spend most of my $ on MTB parts but need decent road wheels for 100+ mile days over smoothg and rough roads.
Thanks!

If you're not racing, I recommend Mavic Open Pro rims with Dura-Ace or Ultegra hubs. They should survive years abuse.
