Currently riding a Pinarello paris size 56. Looking at a BMC gf01 size 56. I feel stretched out on the Paris and think it is too big for me. Twitchy on speeds over 35m/hr. Previous ride was a Trek project one 6 series Madone in H3 geometry that I had no problems with it being twitchy at higher speeds.

Anyone know how the Paris and gf01 compares in stiffness. Love the way the Paris climbs just not the descents. Handling I think the gf01 would be more stable. LBS does not have a 56 for me to try without ordering it. Geometry on the gf01 is pretty close to the Madone. Have read reports about BMC forks being noodly.

I do not race. Just group rides on the weekends with some centuries.

Thanks for any input!

I donno enough about either bike, since I have no prior personal experience them. However, IMO, any bike that "twitches" at higher speeds, does not deserve a second chance. That goes double for CF, a material supposedly known for it's stiffness.
